Fall Leaves

The leaves are made from a coffee-filter type paper. The students picked 3 fall colors and colored the leaf with markers. The leaf is then lightly spritzed with water. Allow to dry and mount on construction paper. The leaves can be found at JoAnns and maybe Michaels.

The way to get better with scissors is to practice, practice practice!
Use a straw that has been cut several times to make a cute spout!

Crayon Resist Art

The students colored the picture of the dolphin and painted a thin layer of blue tempera paint on top. The paint was resisted by the crayon - making it appear as ocean water!
